Hey! I know I haven't updated in a really long time and that is my bad, but I haven't had anything really to report, no job since Am-x. Now however I have the pleasure of temping at another company 3-5 days, that has turned into a 2 week adventure. and by adventure, I mean a hellish, torturous time. Also, my supervisor advised me on Friday that "maybe they would just keep me until the end of the summer!" Oh goody. Please shoot me now. no. really. so what do i do all day? file, alphabetize, file, data entry. do i talk to anyone? no. do i have access to the internet? no. do i step out of my cube for anything except trips to the bathroom? no. no. no. do i want to shoot myself in the head? yes. do my arms hurt from filing things over my head? yes. does my back hurt from my too low chair at my desk? yes. do i want to become an alcoholic by the end of the day? yes. yes. yes. am i staying beyond the end of may? no nO NO! on the other hand, i am allowed to listen to mr. ipod and so to date, i have listened to much music, the davinci code, and the first three chapters of "a short history of nearly everything. audio books are my god. right now, i'm downloading, the rest of a short history, the dune series and the ender cycle, along with fast food nation and greatest minds and ideas of all time. i might learn spanish. i might learn french. it all depends on how long i can stand making only $10/hr at a job that is murderously boring, spending 1.5 hours in the car getting to and from work, spending $3+/day to get to work, getting up at 6:45am every day AND not tanning in the park, or playing racquetball, or relaxing during the last summer before i work for the rest of my adult life.

speaking of spending time in the car. the other day it took me 30 minutes to go, i kid you not, 5 miles....on the highway. that's little more than 10mph - on the highway. i was so frustrated that i banged the roof of my car and yelled at the top of my lungs. my mood was saved, however, when i looked in my rearview mirror to find that the person behind me was grinning and laughing, presumably, at my antics. this made me feel immeasurably better. it still sucked that it took me nearly an hour to get home, on a friday.

so law school. i'm not going to do that this year. villanova granted the deferral that i sought, and instead i am going to work at a law firm for a year -- still in philadelphia!

my car - i'm getting rid of it, anyone knows anyone, get in touch with me. it's a 2002 chevy cavalier, good condition, 50,000 miles. asking price $6,000 negotiable.

also Bushie's approval rating fell to 29% ... break out the champagne!

w00t for Philly, my parents both went to law school there. Do let me know if you plan on coming up to NYC. I can definitely show you around, and possibly offer you a place to crash too. Good to hear from you again.

Hey, let me know if you need help moving in when you get to Philly. I'll gladly come down and help for the weekend or something.
